Hi everyone, Happy Summer Break! At least for students and teachers, that is 🙂

I know we haven’t posted for a while, and this is more of an update than a post, but we wanted to let you know that we haven’t forgotten about you! Grace is still working with her doctor at Stanford, and we are still waiting for more definite news to share with you on that front. The process has been grueling for Grace recently, so we still really appreciate all your prayers and support! It looks like she will finish around mid-August, and we will keep you updated as we can until then. Thank you for walking faithfully with us, we can’t tell you how much that means. God bless you all!

  1. Sounds like a long time but God has this. Continual prayers for all of you and for progress to be made with all the doctors insights into her needs. Would love to see wonderful results for her in progress that makes a huge difference in her life. Will she be in the hospital all this time or back and forth to your apartment? Just curious.

  2. Hi Grace and Ivan,

Praying for God’s continued peace as you walk this part of the journey with Him!

This song is probably from before your time, but the scripture behind it is timeless: “Wait on the Lord, listen to His voice. They that wait upon the Lord will renew their strength” (from Isaiah 40).

    Blessings,
    Samantha

  3. Dear Ivan and Grace,
Thank you for the update. I’ve been praying for the entire family and especially for you Ivan. It must be so difficult to watch the Grace go through this process. Praying for your courageous perseverance and endurance. BTY: we saw you sitting in the back row of the eighth grade graduation of our granddaughter. Thank you for your dedication to VCS. Stay strong in the Lord.

  4. Thank you for updating, she is in my prayers as so are the family. I have been wondering alot lately how you both are doing, this has helped. I hope they find a cure, or something to allow her to have a normal life. I can’t imagine what you are both going through, but I will be praying for peace and patience for both of you. I don’t know you Ivan, but you are a strong and wonderful Husband. God Bless
