Good afternoon, Blogging Family! Thank you again so much to all of you who prayed for, attended, or expressed interest in our recital last Saturday! It was a sweet time of celebrating the Lord’s faithfulness over the years, and we were so humbled and blessed by everyone’s support, both in person and online! We would not be here today without the prayers, and love of far more people than we are even aware of, and Saturday was a vivid reminder of this reality.
We wanted to share this recording with those of you who were unable to attend in person but asked about a recording. If you tried to livestream, you’re aware that we ran into some unexpected network issues. Because of this, the version posted above is missing a few songs. However, I’m very grateful that Ivan could reconstruct the large majority of the recital and we hope you will enjoy the overall feel of the event! ๐

I CLICKED ON THE YOUTUBE AND IT SAYS IT ISN’T AVAILABLE ANYMORE SO I DIDN’T SEE ANYTHING.

I was able to listen to your recital today and I was amazed at how you were able to play your violin. I teared up when I first heard you play. The Lord has given you so much ability after your accident. Thank Ivan for working to put this together so we could listen to it.
I am so thankful to the Lord and you for your hard work and determination to get your ability back to playing. You have such a gift and I’m grateful I have been able to follow your journey after so many years. May the Lord continue to give you even more use with your hands.

I had time today to listen to your violin recital. It was amazing to see the ability that the Lord has given you since your accident when you couldn’t play your violin. It made me tear up when you started playing. I found it to be very worshipful and loved having Ivan play along with your friend on the violin.
Do you have any feeling in your left hand or did you just learn to manage without feeling?
When I was able to attend the rehearsal of the UCO when my husband Walt was in the Trustee Executive session with the trustees, I would sit where I could watch Ivan play the piano. Such amazing skill to be able to accompany the UCO.

Thanks so much for listening! We appreciate it so much. I still don’t have feeling in my left hand, but thanks to God’s help and help from friends and therapy have been able to learn to play using my eyes. We appreciate your support over the years, and your support of UCO so much!

Hi Steve! I’ve tried re-embedding the video in the post, so hopefully that will help. Still not sure why this is happening since everything looks good on our end. Here’s the direct link as well: https://youtu.be/QT_Bj0RsaZ4?si=FdqPjzbrFKvwIBLz
